The Body Project is the mos scientifically supported body image and eating disorder prevention programme in the world. This Foundation Facilitator Training equips you to deliver The Body Project to groups of girls and young women aged 12-25 years with confidence.

You'll learn the evidence and theory behind the programme, key facilitation techniques, and get hands-on practice, live coaching in the techniques that make it effective, and resources to help you sign-up young people to your groups and measure your impact — so you leave ready to run groups in your community.

Who it's for:

Dietitians, counsellors, school nurses, teachers, university staff and students, personal trainers, coaches, psychologists, social workers, health and wellbeing practitioners and caring adults who want an evidence-based, practical programme they can put to use straight away.

Format:

  • 1-hour self-paced module

  • 2 × 4-hour interactive live training sessions on zoom

  • Plus: programme manuals, training materials, assessment and marketing toolkits, a private community discussion board, and invitations to optional expert webinars
